Rueben’s Lodge is situated in the Allerthorpe Golf and Country Club in East Riding, Yorkshire. Situated in approximately 100 acres of countryside surroundings, you can enjoy some serene walks, play around of golf, go fishing or take a break from cooking with a lovely meal in the grill restaurant and bar.
Within 5 mins you will also find Allerthorpe Lakeland Park which offers a variety of water sports e.g. paddleboards, pedalo’s, kayaks and canoes and also a well- stocked fishing lake. You also have Pocklington canal nearby which also offers you beautiful scenery should you wish to go for a walk along the canal. Also in Pocklington there is a flying school where you can try gliding.
Further afield Allerthorpe is around 20 mins outside York so perfect for a flutter at the races, retail therapy at the designer outlet or just meandering through the historical city enjoying the architecture. Around 40 mins is the stunning East Coast which has some dog friendly beaches. There are also other stunning walks nearby.
The lodge is itself is new this year and the design was launched by Lakewood only late last year. It has a modern but comfy interior with all the home comforts e.g. integrated appliances Inc. dishwasher, washing machine, all the crockery/ cutlery, microwave etc. The en-suite master bedroom is spacious with walk in wardrobe and ample storage, the second bedroom has two standard sized single beds and adjacent to this is the family bathroom.
The lounge is comfy and has 42” flat screen TV, electric fire, a settee and bed settee (The lodge is large enough to accommodate 6 people). Outside on the decking has an enclosed area which houses the fantastic hot tub and rattan seating.
Free unlimited Wi-Fi is included and there is parking spaces for 2 cars outside in the parking bay.
At a small extra charge you can purchase celebration packages to make the stay more special (The lodge gets dressed with banners / balloons, and we provide chocolates, prosecco etc.) Full prices for celebration packs upon request.
The Lodge is pet friendly and can welcome up to 2 small well behaved dogs.
This lovely lodge is open all year round.
